At Winmarleigh, we are proud of our small, friendly school, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to shine.

Our school is organised into two mixed-age classes, creating a close-knit learning community where children of different ages learn, play and grow together. This special environment allows us to nurture strong relationships, celebrate individuality and provide opportunities for every child to develop confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

From their very first days in Reception to their final year in Year 6, our children are supported and encouraged every step of the way.

Our school values of Enjoy, Believe, Achieve are at the heart of everything we do. We want our children to enjoy coming to school, believe in themselves and their abilities, and achieve their very best, both academically and personally.

Meet Our Classes

Class 1 – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Little Learners, Big Adventures!

Class 1 is where our youngest children begin their Winmarleigh journey. With a focus on curiosity, creativity, friendship and discovery, children develop the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

Class 2 – Years 3, 4, 5 and 6

Growing Together, Aiming High and Achieving Great Things!

In Class 2, children build on their early experiences, embrace new challenges and develop the knowledge, confidence and independence to prepare for their next exciting chapter.

A School Where Everyone Belongs

One of the things that makes Winmarleigh so special is our strong sense of community. Although our children belong to two classes, we are very much one school family.

Our children know and support one another across the year groups, creating a welcoming environment where friendships flourish, achievements are celebrated and everyone has an important part to play.
