Our School Vision

Jesus said 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,  with all your mind and with all your strength.' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it 'You shall love your neighbour as yourself.'

At Winmarleigh, love is at the heart of all we do. Our Christian vision reminds us that every person is precious, unique and loved by God. It calls us to love and value ourselves, to care for one another and to treat everyone with kindness, dignity and respect.

We believe that everyone is our neighbour and that each of us has a part to play in helping others to flourish. We encourage our children to look beyond themselves, to show compassion, to stand up for what is right and to make a positive difference in our school, our community and the wider world.

Through God's love, we want every member of our Winmarleigh family to feel that they belong, to recognise their own worth and the worth of others, and to grow in confidence to become the very best that they can be.
